Is Appendiceal Cancer a Lynch Syndrome–Associated Cancer?—Reply In Reply We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the letter received regarding our cohort study1 and have made every effort herein to address the comments raised. We agree with Yurgelun et al that the histopathologic evaluation and classification of appendiceal neoplasms can be complex. The challenges in distinguishing primary appendiceal from cecal malignant tumors may also yield misclassification across these tumor types.
