I worked as a writer, editor and columnist for The Johns Hopkins News-Letter as an undergraduate.

2015 - Collegiate Journalism

I was a writer and editor at The Johns Hopkins News-Letter from 2014 to 2018. The News-Letter staff was presented with this award in the four-year college non-daily newspaper division for the April 30, 2015 issue, which provided extensive coverage of the Freddie Gray protests in Baltimore. In addition to serving as a News & Features editor for the issue, I also co-wrote the top story, which covered both peaceful and violent protests.
