Key Points Question Is integrative cognitive behavioral therapy for prolonged grief (PG-CBT) more effective than present-centered therapy (PCT) in patients with prolonged grief disorder (PGD)? Findings In a multicenter randomized clinical trial with 212 participants, PG-CBT resulted in greater improvement in blinded rater-assessed PGD severity after treatment, but at follow-up, this effect was only visible on a trend level.
