To the Editor: Sometimes elections are about more than any single policy. They are about what we believe our government should stand for and whether our representatives will act on those beliefs. That is why I support State Representative Nick Menapace and State Senator Martha Marx. I attended the recent debate between Nick Menapace and Anne Santoro. What stood out to me was the difference between repeatedly invoking “fiscal responsibility” and explaining how to address the problems people face.
