To the Editor: As I read the recent news article describing the decision where the Old Lyme Democratic Town Committee voted to nominate Bonnie Reemsnyder to complete the term of unaffiliated candidate Michael Fogliano. Michael is very knowledgeable about affordable housing and the potential affordable legislation anticipated from the Connecticut State Legislature.

To the Editor: I have recently heard that Bonnie Reemsnyder has been put forward by the DTC as a candidate to fill Michael Folgiano’s seat on Zoning. According to Ms. Nosal , “the person who had that seat, Michael Fogliano, was endorsed by the Democrats. So, by all rights, this position belongs in the Democratic corner.” Ms. Shoemaker, apparently, concurred.
