1 Introduction With the rapid explosion of electric vehicles (EVs), lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have emerged as the dominant power source to satisfy the demand for high energy density [1-3]. Layered oxide cathodes (such as LiNixCoyMn(1-x-y)O2) have attracted much attention due to their high energy density. The academic community is currently focusing on researching high-nickel layered oxide cathodes due to their higher nickel content, which can provide higher energy density [4].
