Are you ready to celebrate? A newly-remodeled Wendy's restaurant at 320 Village Center Drive in Swedesboro will have its grand-reopening celebration on Oct. 17. Three Little Birds Café takes its name from the Bob Marley and the Wailers song "Three Little Birds." In that song, the famous chorus states: "Don't worry about a thing. 'Cause every little thing, gonna be alright." Three Little Birds Café is a dedicated food truck which officially debuted in May of 2025 and is owned and operated by the non-profit The Arc of Camden County, which assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

ALDI launches new fresh, ready-made family-size meals under $15
Discount grocer ALDI, which has multiple stores across South Jersey, is launching its first ever collection of ready-to-eat meals with both single-serve and family-sized options at select stores this fall. The meals, which will be priced at under $8 for single servings and under $15 for family-sized portions, were expected to become available by early October at select stores and throughout the fall, with plans to make the full collection available nationwide by January 2027.

National Taco Day is on October 6. It's Taco Tuesday. Luckily, South Jersey has a plethora of Mexican restaurants that are known for their tacos. If you haven't visited, many are worth the taco trip. Here are a handful: Axo Restaurant, Lindenwold Birria tacos are shown at Axo Restaurant in Lindenwold, New Jersey. A popular Mount Laurel restaurant that sits along the Rancocas Creek took top honors in the Courier-Post 2026 waterfront dining poll. You can't hold The Lobster House down for long. Videos circulated over the weekend showing one of the iconic eatery's dining rooms and the adjacent dock area flooded in the aftermath of the nor'easter that caused massive flooding, heavy winds and heavy rain at the Jersey Shore and other coastal areas in the Northeast. But restaurant management said they'll be back up and running soon. Their fish market, takeout area and coffee shop were all open Sept. 28.
