Houston Port Region – Economic Engine The Houston Ship Channel and its more than 200 public and private terminals, collectively known as Port Houston, is the nation’s largest port for waterborne tonnage and an essential economic engine for the Houston region, the state of Texas, and the U.S. Port Houston container volume dipped in January.

Now that the Class of 2017 is in school and the lingering eligibility issues of some have largely been sorted out, we’ve recalculated the final team recruiting rankings to account for prospects that didn’t make it to campus for the 2017 season.

Updates from the recruiting industry to the basketball prospect rankings in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 classes recently have resulted in some shuffling in the 247Sports Composite rankings for each class. Allen (Texas) John Paul II shooting guard Manny Obaseki added a fifth star and moved up from No. 27 to No. 24 overall. He is the top-ranked signee in Texas A&M's top 25 2021 class.
