Supreme Court can restore fair court access for conservative election challenges
This week, the Supreme Court is set to hear Bost v. Illinois State Board of Elections. The case is about access to courts. For too long, courts have opened their doors to left-wing groups filing frivolous lawsuits against election integrity laws but denied meaningful challenges from conservatives. Bost can correct this. Michael Bost is a Congressman from Illinois. He challenged an Illinois law that allowed mail ballots to be received and counted up to 14 days after Election Day.

CHAD ENNIS: States Must Stand Up: Restore Trust With Proof-Of-Citizenship Laws
Last week, an Obama-appointed judge dismissed a challenge to Wyoming’s law to keep its voter rolls free of noncitizens. The ruling allows Wyoming to continue to require proof of citizenship when voters seek to register to vote. Noncitizens on the rolls is not just an issue in Wyoming. It is a nationwide problem that Arizona and others are also tackling in unique ways. Despite denials from the Left, noncitizens are registering to vote.
This election is already being litigated
We have the first big United States Supreme Court decision of the 2024 election cycle. The court let stand a commonsense move by Virginia to remove ineligible voters from its voter rolls. In Pennsylvania, an intermediate appeals court previously found that misdated and undated mail ballots must be counted even though they do not comply with Pennsylvania law. Like the United State Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court followed the law and stayed the lower court’s opinion.

CHAD ENNIS: Conservatives Push For Simple Election Rules While The Left Embraces Chaos
On election integrity, we tend to discuss the hot issue at that moment. Usually, it is a new court case or piece of legislation. But we only get a piecemeal view of each side’s goals. Let’s step back and look at each’s ideal system. The rightwing view is straightforward. Voter rolls should be accurate and only contain eligible, citizen voters. In-person voting on election day (or shortly before) is best with mail or other options for elderly, disabled and folks truly out of town.
The Left Is Freaking Out Over A Common Sense Voting Rule … Again
There is no election integrity measure that the Left will not sue to block. This seems like an outlandish sentence, but history keeps proving it true. The Left’s election-industrial complex is ready to pounce at a moment’s notice. No rule is safe, not even one as simple as Georgia’s new policy requiring officials to verify that the number of votes matches the number of voters in an election.

With The Strike Of A Gavel, One Wisconsin Judge Created An Entirely New Voting Method
The activist Wisconsin judiciary is at it again. This time, a judge in Madison has decided that it would be a great idea to create an entirely new method of voting seven months before the November presidential election. Officials from both parties agree that this is too big of a change to implement ahead of the 2024 election. Wisconsinites should be asking themselves why the late election-rule changes following the ruling in Disability Rights Wisconsin v.

Kansas Supreme Court Delivers Blow To The Left’s Election-Industrial Complex
The Left’s endless “sue-until-blue” strategy was once again defeated, this time in Kansas. In overturning a lower court ruling, the Kansas Supreme Court dealt a deserved blow to Democratic elections lawyer Marc Elias and his merry band of partisan activists by rejecting Elias’ broad attacks on mail voting safeguards in the state.

‘Sue til it turns blue’ - Democrats pursue a lawfare election strategy in Wisconsin Original
The left’s legal-industrial complex is targeting battleground Wisconsin ahead of the 2024 elections. Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias and friends sue in both state and federal court, groping around for courts friendly to their arguments. The newly elected Wisconsin Supreme Court is proving to be just that, but an Obama appointed federal judge has proven less hospitable.
The Left’s Crusade To Rewrite Election Law Through The Courts Continues
Just like the Rolling Stones, the Left continues to play the hits in their never-ending quest to usurp state legislatures by putting lawyers and courts in charge of elections. They will push any aggressive and shameless legal strategy as long as it serves their goals. Their well of legal theories is bottomless but we have recently received some court guidance on two of their new favorites.

Post-Election Audits Should Be The Norm For Every State. Here’s Why
I may be dating myself, but the old saying goes, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” We can get much more than an ounce’s worth of prevention by engaging in post-election process audits. It is much easier to fix process problems early before they blow up and become problems that require litigation and other nasty fixes. Ahead of the 2024 election, state legislatures should require full process audits to ensure transparency and build trust in our elections.

CHAD ENNIS: Mail Ballot Security Is Under Nationwide Assault
The Left loves to tout universal mail voting. Liberal enclaves like California, Hawaii, and Oregon have implemented it, while activists push aggressively to impose mail-in voting on Americans. But even as they push it, despite repeated instances of fraud, the Left simultaneously attacks any efforts to make vulnerable mail voting more secure. Indeed, the Left holds outright disdain for even minimal safeguards for mail ballots.

Democratic lawyers are making war against even basic election integrity measures
The 2024 presidential election is over a year away, but the left’s legal assault on common-sense election integrity measures has already begun. Last month, a district court in San Antonio ruled that Texas cannot enforce the provision of Senate Bill 1 which established a voter identification requirement for mail in voting in Texas. The next day, a district court in Atlanta ruled against Georgia Senate Bill 202‘s requirement that mail-voters provide their date of birth.
Ranked-choice voting is an elections-administration nightmare Original
All over the country, liberal activists are prodding cities and states to replace ordinary elections with the left’s newest “democracy-saving” fad: ranked-choice voting (RCV). They promise that RCV is a simple system, for voters and for the officials charged with running elections. They couldn’t be more wrong. RCV imposes huge changes on the mechanics of planning and running elections. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. RCV makes voting harder and more confusing.
