Ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz is the lowest it’s been in five weeks, according to reporting from Reuters. Trade intelligence company Kpler found that on Sunday, just six ships went through the strait — a five-week low, according to Reuters. The company also found that traffic from oil and gas tankers in the strait had hit a low not seen since May 25, per Reuters.

A new poll found that support for Israel is less important to younger Jewish Americans, who are more likely to prioritize other ways of connecting to their culture and their faith. The Associated Press-NORC poll released on Monday found that 42 percent of American Jews under 45 years old say support for Israel is important to their religious identity, while 53 percent of Jewish Americans 45 years and older say supporting Israel is important to them.
