Triad residents had the opportunity to celebrate Greensboro’s NBA G League recent championship last week at Mac’s Speed Shop, located at 1218 Battleground Ave. in Greensboro. “Winning the first NBA G League Championship in franchise history is a moment our organization and our city will remember for a long time,” said Steve Swetoha, president of the Greensboro Swarm, in a media release.

Curtis Royal is on a mission to bring business back to downtown Greensboro. During a year where many businesses are closing downtown or opting for different locations, Royal is eyeing Elm Street for two different businesses. The Crown, located at 318 S. Elm St. in Greensboro, is the newest social spot in downtown after having gone through more than $150,000 renovation.
