1. Introduction Organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) based on the bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) blend of semiconducting polymers and small molecule acceptors are considered the most promising candidate as a future mobile energy source due to their advantages, including light weight, flexibility, and low-cost fabrication process [1,2,3,4,5]. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of single-junction polymer solar cells has steadily increased and recently exceeded 18%.
