1 Introduction At the beginning of the 21st century, following Pappu's initial concept of a physical one-way function [1], the physical unclonable function (PUF) emerged as a promising hardware security primitive [2]. PUFs exploit inherent physical variations in hardware to generate unique and unpredictable responses, making them highly applicable in various fields such as anti-counterfeiting applications [3-7] and secure key generation for cryptographic systems [8-10].
