Ultra-high-dose-rate pulsed irradiation and the conditional FLASH effect: dosimetry, multiscale biology, and clinical translation
Abstract Ultra-high-dose-rate (UHDR) pulsed irradiation can deliver therapeutic doses within an extremely short time window, but UHDR is a physical delivery state, whereas the FLASH effect is a conditional comparative phenotype in which normal-tissue injury is reduced relative to a spatially dose-comparable conventional-dose-rate (CDR) irradiation comparator without loss of tumor control.

Investigation of Ni-Cu-acid multifunctional synergism in NiCu-phyllosilicate catalysts toward 1,4-butynediol hydrogenation to 1,4-butanediol
Investigation of Ni-Cu-acid multifunctional synergism in NiCu-phyllosilicate catalysts toward 1,4-butynediol hydrogenation to 1,4-butanediol We studied the Ni-Cu-acid multifunctional synergism in NiCu-phyllosilicate catalysts toward 1,4-butynediol hydrogenation to 1,4-butanediol by variation of the reduction temperature, which can activate the different bimetal and support interactions.
Geometric art of a Ni@silica nano-capsule catalyst with superb methane dry reforming stability: enhanced confinement effect over nickel site anchoring inside capsule shell with appropriate inner cavity
Catalysts deactivation via severe carbon deposition and metal sintering is a significant obstacle for the industrialization of CO2 reforming of methane (CRM). Previous reports are mainly focused on metal oxides supported catalysts, which were proved to be less effective to eliminate the formation of carbon deposition completely.
Highly stable mesoporous NiO-Y2O3-Al2O3 catalysts for CO2 reforming of methane: effect of Ni embedding and Y2O3 promotion
A series of mesoporous NiO–Y O –Al O composite oxides with different yttrium contents were synthesized by either a one-pot evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) method or impregnation for carbon dioxide reforming of methane (CRM). Their catalytic performance was evaluated and all the samples were characterized by means of N physisorption, XRD, XPS, H -TPR and TEM.
