Early-stage intercropping modulates rhizosphere soil properties, microbiome composition, and photosynthetic physiology of Phellodendron chinense : a comparative analysis of five cultivation systems
Abstract Introduction: Phellodendron chinense is an important medicinal plant in China. However, continuous monoculture has caused soil degradation and physiological constraints, which have become a key bottleneck limiting its sustainable production. Intercropping with companion plants is an effective approach to break this dilemma.
Within-person reciprocal associations between problematic smartphone use and exercise adherence among university students: a four-wave random-intercept cross-lagged panel study
Abstract Background: Problematic smartphone use (PSU) and difficulties maintaining exercise-related routines are common among university students, yet the prospective within-person relationship between PSU and self-reported exercise-adherence tendency (EA) remains unclear. Previous cross-sectional and traditional cross-lagged studies cannot cleanly separate stable between-person differences from within-person fluctuations.
EPD-grounded carbon-resilience allocation for low-carbon concrete supply: decision fidelity, route validation, and correlated-disruption stress testing
Abstract Introduction: Green construction teams need a defensible way to convert product-specific concrete carbon declarations into supply decisions that recognize delivery and disruption exposure. Prediction-to-optimization workflows can obscure a critical evidence boundary: verified environmental product declaration (EPD) values can support formal supplier comparison, whereas machine-learning estimates require decision-level validation before allocation.
A local-update tree-based routing algorithm for WSNs
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are self-organizing systems composed of numerous randomly deployed sensor nodes designed to monitor, collect, and transmit information. Characterized by advantages such as low power consumption, cost-effectiveness, and flexible network architecture, WSNs have gained extensive applications across various domains including military operations, healthcare, power systems, commercial settings, and environmental monitoring.

Measuring integrated hypertension care in community health centers: a cross-sectional study based on the Rainbow Model of Integrated Care in Chengdu, China
Background Effective hypertension management requires cross-sector coordination. The effectiveness of integrated hypertension care varies due to its multidimensional nature, yet evidence from Chinese primary care is limited. This study assessed the level of integrated hypertension care using the Rainbow Model of Integrated Care Measurement Tool (RMIC-MT) and identified key influencing factors.

A context-aware transformer with weighted residual for efficient remote sensing target detection
Abstract Remote sensing image target detection has important applications in disaster prevention and mitigation. However, current detection models still have shortcomings in multi-scale feature fusion and in representing contextual information, and are prone to class imbalance during training. To address these issues, this paper proposes a target detection model that combines a context transformer and a weighted residual pyramid.

Dynamic reward-penalty incentives and occupational health governance: an evolutionary game analysis with public health implications
Abstract Introduction: Occupational health risks remain a significant public health concern in environmentally intensive industries, where inadequate regulatory enforcement and weak enterprise compliance can result in persistent workplace health hazards and potentially preventable long-term health burdens for workers.
Advances in the application of microcapsules in antifouling coatings for marine vessels - Journal of Coatings Technology and Research
Abstract The antifouling performance of ship coatings is a crucial factor affecting both shipping efficiency and the marine ecosystem. Traditional antifouling coatings typically rely on the release of biocides, but prolonged use can be harmful to the environment. This paper reviews the progress of microencapsulation based on inorganic and organic biocides in ship antifouling, focusing on the properties of both types of biocides and their advantages and challenges in microencapsulation.

In situ growth of a heterojunction cocatalyst on the g-C3N5 surface enhances charge transfer to improve photocatalytic activity
In situ growth of a heterojunction cocatalyst on the g-C3N5 surface enhances charge transfer to improve photocatalytic activity† The photocatalytic activity of g-C3N5 is limited by its low photoelectric separation efficiency and high carrier recombination rate. To address this problem, the band gap of g-C3N5 was controlled via P doping, followed by deposition of a CoOOH·CoOx cocatalyst.
