TLN1 interacts with NGFR and suppresses the development of castration-resistant prostate cancer by upregulating NGFR
Abstract Background: Prostate cancer (PCa) is a common malignant tumor in males, and castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) represents an advanced stage with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. Talin-1 (TLN1) is a cytoskeletal protein implicated in tumor progression, but its specific role and mechanism in CRPC remain unclear. Methods: Mass spectrometry (MS) was used to analyze serum peptides from patients with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (HSPC) and CRPC.
Tropomyosin 3 Gene Fusions in Cancers: From Mechanisms to Treatments-A Comprehensive Review
1 Introduction Gene fusions constitute pivotal genomic alterations resulting from chromosomal rearrangements, which lead to the formation of hybrid genes [1]. These hybrid genes encode fusion proteins capable of disrupting normal cellular processes and contributing to oncogenesis. Of particular interest, tropomyosin 3 (TPM3) gene fusions have been identified as significant contributors to tumorigenesis.

The association between CD40 gene polymorphisms and the risk of cancer based on a meta-analysis
Abstract Background: CD40, a constituent of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily, exhibits variable expression across different cancer types. It plays a role in mediating tumor cell proliferation, apoptosis, and survival, as well as antitumor immune responses and the tumor microenvironment. Although some studies have suggested a potential association between CD40 gene polymorphisms and cancer risk, definitive conclusions remain elusive.

Multivariate analysis of roadway multi-fatality crashes using association rules mining and rules graph structures: A case study in China
5.1 Analysis of RGSs Based on the generated rule sets, the Gephi interactive network visualization platform is used to create four directed rule network structures according to different graph structure properties, as shown in Fig 2. Each graphic structure contains 1515 nodes and 5340 edges, of which 63 nodes represent crash factors occurring in the rules, with sizes proportional to the node properties. The remaining 1452 nodes represent independent rules connecting the LHS and RHS items.
Modelling carbon emissions of diesel trucks on longitudinal slope sections in China
