A self-proclaimed "Jersey Girl" who discovered her musical roots in New Brunswick, children's musician Laurie Berkner is releasing her 18th album on June 26 and her latest single, "I'm Proud," came out earlier in June in honor of Pride Month. At 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, Berkner will be hosting album release parties on her Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram Live pages. Touring the United States and Canada, she will return to Central Jersey at the Carteret Performing Arts Center on Sept. 20.

Main St. will host a grand opening from 12-4 p.m. June 20. The event will feature a buy-one, get-one-free offer on shakes, sundaes and molten cups, plus free T-shirts for the first 100 guests and giveaways throughout the afternoon.
