Back when we first moved to Richmond, I got into the habit of talking walks during the day around downtown, since I was living on the East Coast but working on a West Coast schedule. Essentially, my work day didn’t start until after lunchtime, so I’d have several hours to write, or do anything else I wanted to. So one day I strolled to a thrift store near VCU that had a small but curated selection of records and picked up some good stuff, this being one of them.
