A long-term organotypic slice culture model of patient high-grade glioma preserving tumor heterogeneity and architecture, and specificity of CAR T cell targeting
CONFLICT OF INTEREST. C.E.B. and M.E.B. are inventors on patent no. WO2017066481A1 titled "Chimeric antigen receptors containing a chlorotoxin domain", which is associated with the CLTX-directed CAR T cell, and for which they receive royalty payments. Additionally, patents associated with the IL13Rα2-directed CAR T cell have been licensed by Mustang Bio., Inc., for which C.E.B. receives royalty payments. The other authors declare no competing interests.

A Pilot Feasibility Study of Yttrium‐90 Liver Radioembolization Followed by Durvalumab and Tremelimumab in Patients with Microsatellite Stable Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastases
Abstract Lessons Learned Radioembolization with yttrium‐90 resin microspheres can be combined safely with full doses of durvalumab and tremelimumab in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. Regional radioembolization with yttrium‐90 resin microspheres did not result in any hepatic or extrahepatic responses to a combination of durvalumab and tremelimumab.
A Non-canonical Function of BMAL1 Metabolically Limits Obesity-Promoted Triple-Negative Breast Cancer
Highlights • Circadian regulator BMAL1 rewires metabolism in a chronic insulin-treated TNBC model • Pyruvate links BMAL1 to mitochondrial bioenergetics • BMAL1 suppresses tumor proliferation and metastasis in hyperinsulinemic obese mice • BMAL1 influences tumor microenvironment in high-fat-diet-fed mice Summary The epidemiological association between disrupted circadian rhythms and metabolic diseases is implicated in increased risk of human breast cancer and poor therapeutic outcomes.
