The woman who accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 has recanted her allegations against the music mogul. In a filing Thursday from lawyers representing Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, the former accuser says that her allegations against the rapper were “false”, adding that she “never met Mr Carter. Mr Carter never engaged in any inappropriate conduct toward me whatsoever.

Sept. 22, 2026, 1:28 PM EDT Lionel Richie underwent a heart procedure which could threaten an upcoming Las Vegas residency and other shows, a representative for the famed singer and producer said Tuesday. Richie was scheduled to perform with Earth, Wind & Fire at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Saturday night, but his camp said he’ll be taking time off. “Lionel underwent a common procedure for Atrial fibrillation (AFib),” a representative for Richie said in a statement to NBC News.

Sept. 16, 2026, 1:40 PM EDT Attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ are dropping the rapper and music executive as a client in his $100 million defamation lawsuit. Michael Tremonte, a partner at Sher Tremonte LLP, said Combs, 56, “has not paid a substantial balance of attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses,” according to a declaration to withdraw as counsel, filed Monday in the Southern District of New York.
