Rob Thomas accidentally hit Matchbox Twenty bandmate Paul Doucette with a microphone stand mid-show at the Illinois State Fair. Doucette briefly left to fix his monitor before returning to joke about the mishap alongside his long-time friend.

An 18-story apartment tower in Berlin became the scene of a terrifying escape when a fire suddenly broke out on the 11th floor. Trapped by flames and thick black smoke pouring from the windows, a woman climbed onto a tiny exterior ledge and carefully edged along the side of the building, high above the pavement. Two stories below, firefighters positioned an aerial rescue basket directly beneath her.

Kristen Bell crashed a Savannah Bananas game on Saturday, taking the field during their matchup against the Indianapolis Clowns. Sporting a custom Bananas jersey and a headset mic, Bell descended from the stands while singing “For the First Time in Forever” from Frozen.
