The company said a simple touch of their sensor can determine blood alcohol content with the same accuracy of a drawn-blood test. (Aumovio) Aumovio, working with sensor-maker trinamiX, has developed a solution to detect a driver’s blood alcohol content (BAC) with a non-invasive finger touch. The race to develop systems to prevent alcohol-impaired driving has seen many different solutions proposed, from passively sensing the breath of a driver to analyzing micro-movement of the steering wheel.
