LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A new addition to the Little Rock Zoo is making a big splash as they welcome a North American River Otter. Zoo officials said that the otter’s name is “Ginger,” and that she is doing well at her new home. She was born at the Henry Villas Zoo in Madison, Wisconsin, in February 2025 and moved to Little Rock just this past April, according to officials. Officials say that she is very active, swimming in her pool, collecting rocks and playing with her pool toys.
