A performance by the Camden Community Choir and remarks by local resident Bonnie Sawyer highlighted the county’s 4th annual Juneteenth Celebration. The county celebrated Juneteenth in the community room of the Camden Library from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., Saturday, June 13. More than 50 people attended the event, which included guest speakers, music performances, games, free hot dogs and several vendors. Sawyer was born in Chesapeake, Virginia, but is a longtime resident of Camden County.
