Since NFL free agency began on March 10, the Dallas Cowboys have surprisingly made more moves than they did all of last offseason. They’ve signed multiple outside players, while trading for two. They also just recently added running back Miles Sanders.

The first big trade of the NFL offseason occurred on Saturday, with the Washington Commanders trading a fifth-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers for WR Deebo Samuel. 49ers trading WR Deebo Samuel to the Commanders for a 5th-round pick. The Dallas Cowboys suffered a big blow to their roster when Zack Martin announced his intention to retire from the NFL. In 11 seasons with the team he received nine All-Pro nods and nine Pro Bowl selections. A future first-ballot hall of fame player is hard to replace on the offensive line. Truthfully, there is no replacing Zack Martin. Throughout his career he only had seven holding penalties, two less than the amount of All-Pro selections he received.
