A BRITISH tourist has died in Benidorm after the rope connecting her parachute to the boat broke while she was parasailing, leading her to crash into nearby rocks. The victim, reportedly 66 years old, was parasailing near the Cola del Caballo mountain, toward the Tío Ximo cove, with a 47-year-old man, at around 6.50pm on Monday, when the rope connecting the parachute to the boat broke, leaving the pair helpless in the air before they struck the rocks below.
