The growing need for digital literacy in education has become critical as classrooms worldwide adapt to modern technological demands. However, many schools, particularly in rural, special needs, or under-resourced areas, face challenges in adopting digital tools effectively. Recognizing this gap, Project Albus was launched to enhance teaching and learning experiences through the integration of Google for Education (GfE) tools and Chromebooks.

Burnout has been found to affect 50–70% of educators in Asian countries. Yet, across South and Southeast Asia, less than 40% of teachers’ work hours are focused on direct teaching. Wise implementation of digital technologies by schools and government leaders can not only save time but also reallocate time to core teaching and learning activities.

Vietnam's location in Southeast Asia links major Asian markets, backed by a young workforce and expanding middle class. Singapore’s role as the leading investor in Vietnam has become increasingly pronounced over the last five years. According to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Vietnam rose by an extraordinary 59% — from $51.0 billion in 2012-2016 to $81.0 billion in 2017-2022.
