Additionally, approximately 21.9 million people contracted respiratory diseases as a result of air pollution. This highlights the critical need for urgent measures to limit air pollution in Kenya.

All questions Climate change The Climate Change Act 2016 mandates the National Climate Change Council to set targets for the regulation of GHG emissions (Section 6). Section 13 of the Act further requires the NCCAP to prescribe measures and mechanisms to review levels and trends of GHG emissions. Section 15 further imposes an obligation on all state departments and national government public entities to report on sectoral GHG emissions for the national inventory.
