Have you ever used a typewriter?
Before it was a thing, I live-blogged, via typewriter, for an audience of none, the night Nolan Ryan beat up Robin Ventura (8/4/93).
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I shoehorned in overly-elaborate reviews of my favorite bands, which is thoroughly embarrassing but won me awards and set me on my path.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My morning in the studio with Metallica was the realization of a childhood dream, but in retrospect I should have taken the mic when offered
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
An email from a publicist with a 3-word subject line and the words "nuff said" as the email's entire body text.
