It’s go time, Kentucky. Mark Pope knows it — and if he didn’t, the fact that John Calipari just won the SEC Tournament with Arkansas increased the noise exponentially. Everybody knows the numbers, but this proud program hasn’t been to the Final Four since Calipari’s 38-0 team lost in that round in 2015. Pope lost in the Sweet 16 last year, his first year on the job. Big Blue Nation is beyond restless for another big tournament run.

Georgia (17-8, 5-7 SEC) has lost 5 of its last 6 conference games and is squarely on the bubble. Aggies faithful are planning a “Black Out” tonight. On the court, expect a physical battle in the paint highlighted by two of the conference’s most dominant big men.
Alabama at Auburn: Rivalry game best bet
The Iron Bowl of basketball takes center stage today as Alabama travels to Auburn, their first meeting this season. Tip-off is set for 4 pm, ET (ESPN2). Tip-off is set for 7 pm, ET (ESPN). The Aggies (17-4, 7-1) lead the SEC but remain unranked. There are whispers that the Aggies have merely taken advantage of a friendly schedule. Their lone loss in SEC play — at then-No. 24 Tennessee — is their only game against a team ranked at tip-off.
Ole Miss at Tennessee: Preview and prediction
No. 25 Tennessee hosts Ole Miss tonight. Tip-off is set for 7 pm, ET (ESPN2). Tennessee (15-6, 5-3 SEC) climbed back into the AP Top 25 on the strength of a 3-game winning streak, including road victories at Alabama and Georgia and a gritty home win over Auburn. Despite missing starting center Felix Okpara to a calf injury, the Vols got massive contributions from Nate Ament and Bishop Boswell to control the glass against Auburn.
Tennessee at Georgia: Preview and best bet
How evenly matched are Tennessee and Georgia? Oddsmakers and bettors can’t come to a consensus. The line already has moved. Some sportsbooks list Tennessee as a slight road favorite. Other books have Georgia as a slight home favorite. Neither team is ranked, but both the Vols and the Dawgs were earlier in January. Georgia’s RPI ranking is No. 42, followed by Tennessee at No. 43. The SEC rivals will tip off at 7 pm, ET, tonight in Athens (SEC Network).
Kentucky at Vanderbilt: Best bet and preview

Tonight, Vandy hosts Kentucky, which has won 5 consecutive games, a streak highlighted by a win at then-No. 24 Tennessee. Tip-off is set for 9 pm, ET (ESPN). Vanderbilt is a 6.5-point home favorite.
Tennessee vs. Alabama: Best bet for SEC rivalry clash

The Tide (13-5, 3-2 SEC) rebounded from consecutive losses to Vanderbilt and Texas to win back-to-back road games at Mississippi State and Oklahoma. Did Alabama find something? Or take advantage of a break in the gauntlet against 2 of the SEC’s worst teams? We’ll know more after tonight. Tennessee (12-6, 2-3) has wins over then-No. 3 Houston and then-No. Louisville.

The Kentucky Wildcats (12-6, 3-2 SEC) host the Texas Longhorns (11-7, 2-3 SEC) tonight. Tip-off is set for 7 pm, ET at Rupp Arena. SEC Network will televise the SEC game. The Wildcats are the clear home favorite, thanks to a 3-game winning streak that includes an 80-78 win at then-No. 24 Tennessee on Saturday. Kentucky is 6-5 ATS as a home favorite this season. The Longhorns are more difficult to measure.
Missouri vs. Georgia: Picks, predictions and best bet
No. 21 Georgia travels to face unranked Missouri on Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 9 pm, ET (SEC Network). The Tigers opened as a 1.5-point home favorite, but the line has moved to 1.0 points. Georgia knocked off Arkansas in its most recent game. Mizzou fell at LSU its last time out, but the Tigers are 11-0 at home. It’s worth noting, however, that the Tigers are 4-5 ATS as a home favorite. Georgia is 1-1 ATS as a road underdog. We’ll preview the matchup and offer our best bet and prediction.
Vanderbilt vs Arkansas: Best bet and preview
Remember when Vanderbilt started the season 16-0, matching the best start in program history? The Commodores would like to get back to those winning ways after dropping their past 2 games. It won’t be easy. Tonight, No. 15 Vandy travels to face No. 20 Arkansas in a key SEC battle. Tip-off is set for 9 pm, ET (ESPN). Backcourts define the matchup and likely will determine the winner.
Florida at Vanderbilt: Our best bet for Saturday clash
Texas humbled No. 10 Vanderbilt on Wednesday night, spoiling the Commodores’ bid for the best start in school history. It’s not all bad: Vandy’s 16-0 start still matches the best start in program history. Now, the Commodores (16-1, 3-1 SEC) return home today to tangle with defending NCAA Tournament champion Florida (12-5, 3-1 SEC). Tip-off is set for 2 pm, ET (ESPN). Vanderbilt opened as a 3.5-point home favorite at Bet365 Sportsbook. Vanderbilt is 5-4 ATS as a home favorite this season.

Vanderbilt at Texas: Best bet for SEC showdown
It’s past time to put some respect on Vanderbilt’s name. The No. 10 Commodores are 16-0, matching the best start in program history. They legitimized their flawless start by beating then-No. 13 Alabama last week. Vandy has risen into the top 10 of the AP poll for the first time since the 2011-12 season. Tonight, the Dores travel to Texas (10-6, 1-2 SEC), which just delivered its biggest win of the season — a 92-88 win at Alabama. Tip-off is at 9 pm, ET (ESPN2).
Missouri vs Auburn preview and top bets
What’s more fun than a pick-’em? That’s essentially the backdrop when Missouri welcomes Auburn tonight in an SEC basketball game between NCAA Tournament hopefuls. Tip-off is at 7 pm, ET (ESPN2). The metrics favor Auburn, which has a better RPI (No. 32 to Mizzou’s No. 91) and superior NET (No. 36 to No. 76). The location favors Mizzou (10-0 at home, whereas Auburn is 0-2 on the road).
