On Feb. 16, St. Petersburg launches its first-ever Winter Pride , a week of street parties, movies, and club nights. St. Petersburg will become the only city in Florida with two official Pride weeks.

Can someone please explain the fascination with getting out of Boston for the summer? I understand the lure of the Cape and Islands, the call of coastal Maine, and the lovely sandy-bottom lakes and ponds with minnows waiting to tickle your ankles. But there are advantages to staying in Boston. The streets have emptied (just avoid Newbury Street and the North End at all costs), and the weather is finally suitable for grabbing a Blue Bike and peddling along the Emerald Necklace.

Here’s a stubborn, recurring dilemma. Your family is itching for a coronavirus escape. That means a road trip, which means trying to figure out a bathroom strategy. An increasing number of public restrooms are open, but not all of them. Additionally, there are still some among us who are not interested in public highway bathrooms at this particular moment. It’s a real head scratcher, but I wasn’t about to let a little tinkle trouble stand between me and the open road.
What will it take for airlines to persuade us to fly again?
As airlines lose billions, they’re cleaning and sanitizing as if their lives depend upon it. But is it enough? There was a war taking place inside the cabin of Delta’s Airbus A381 as it sat on the tarmac at Logan. It was Memorial Day weekend and my friends and I should have been splayed out in Adirondack chairs sipping cocktails adorned with sprigs of herbs while their kids caught fireflies in Mason jars. The best hotel in the US? It’s right here in Mass.
For a second consecutive year, users of the travel review site TripAdvisor have named the Nantucket Hotel and Resort the Top Hotel Overall in the United States. TripAdvisor users also named the hotel the number seven Top Hotel Overall in the world, and the number three Best Service Hotel in the country. Winners were chosen based on millions of reviews submitted by TripAdvisor users during 2017.
