Julia Holter is releasing a new album, titled Materia. Comprised of seven tracks, it’s billed as a companion LP to Holter’s 2024 record Something In The Room She Moves. The new album features new songs written and recorded with Holter’s band in between tours, reinventions of material from the 2024 LP, and songs first conceived around the making of that record. To mark the announcement of Materia, Holter has shared lead single ‘Fantasy’, which you can watch a video for below.

Can Live Series Continues with ‘Live In Arles 1975’

An ongoing series of Can live releases will continue this September with the unveiling of Live In Arles 1975. The release originates from a recording of the show that was captured by a fan when the band played on a hot August 1975 night at Roman Amphitheatre, Théâtre Antique d’Arles in France. “I remember a very beautiful atmosphere,” Can’s Irmin Schmidt said of the show.

Jules Reidy Details New Album, ‘Clerestory’

Jules Reidy is releasing a new album through Thrill Jockey, titled Clerestory. Spanning six tracks, the new record arrives off the back of 2025’s Ghost/Spirit, which marks the Australian artist’s first full-length release for their current label home. Clerestory, a press release said, is different from the “dense song-constructs” of Reidy’s previous record, and features one extended piece, made with US strings collective JACK Quartet, as well as five shorter solo pieces.
