It's changing how news is spread, and sadly forcing too many editors to go for shock value, not substance.

Clark Kent - I wish I could type that fast.

To inform, to entertain and to enlighten.

Why did you become a journalist?
Love writing ... it's that simple.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No. I worked for my college's newspaper, doing everything from writing movie reviews to shaping the paper's redesign.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I interviewed a young poet, Mattie Stepanek, who taught me what is means to live live to its fullest.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be versatile. You may have to wait years until you cover the beat you love. Spend that time being a great team player.
