WHITE LAKE (WWJ) A crash, involving a minivan and a motorcycle, in northwestern Oakland County leaves one man dead and another in custody. White Lake Township Police said the crash occurred on June 29 shortly before 5 p.m., on White Lake near Teggerdine. According to police, a Dodge Caravan driving west on White Lake, crashed head on into a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound. Authorities pronounced the driver of the motorcycle, a 70-year-old Holly man, dead at the scene.

OXFORD TWP (WWJ) A construction worker fell into a trench in Northern Oakland County. Police said he fell in on the morning of Tuesday, June 30, while a backhoe was digging a trench in a rural area on Barber Road, four to five miles northeast of downtown Oxford. The trench measured 5’ wide, 10’ deep, according to authorities. First responders successfully pulled him out of the trench and transported him to the hospital with a police escort. His condition has not been released.
