The TAU Tequila brand is owned by the López Herrera family, originally from Jesús María, Jalisco. Martín López Herrera, his wife, and their four children launched TAU in 2019. Martín has been part of the tequila industry since 2007. He is a certified taster with the Secretaría de Educación Pública.

Fortaleza Reposado
Tequila Fortaleza was launched in 2005 by fifth-generation distiller Guillermo Erickson Sauza. Guillermo restored his family’s historic small distillery into the producer of a craft, traditional, globally sought-after brand. The tequila is sold in Mexico as Los Abuelos (meaning “Grandfathers”) and branded as Fortaleza for international markets because of a trademark conflict. Fun fact: Each Fortaleza bottle produced honors the Los Abuelos name, which is etched on the bottle beneath its paper label.
Cascahuín Blanco
I love the minerality that shines through in Cascahuín expressions! Tequila Cascahuín (NOM 1123) is a historic, family-owned distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco. Founded in 1904 by the Rosales family, it grew from their early work farming Blue Weber agave into a tequila-production operation. Cascahuín is currently led by master distiller Salvador "Chava" Rosales Trejo. The distillery is celebrated worldwide for producing some of the finest tequilas.
Tequila Rimari Blanco
Tequila Rimari was founded by Dheeraj Naidu and Vrunda Parekh to deliver great tequila for a fair price. They’re off to a nice start by partnering with the Feliciano Vivanco (NOM 1414) distillery in Arandas, under master distiller Sergio Cruz. While Rimari leverages the same quality production methods of other NOM 1414 tequilas, what sets it apart is the use of sake yeast during fermentation. Nose: Lots of minerality, pepper, vegetal, lemon, sweet cooked agave, grass, and yeast/dough.
Paladar Reposado Toasted Series
Paladar has built its reputation around exploring how different maturation techniques can influence tequila while remaining committed to additive-free production. Produced at Tequila Arette de Jalisco (NOM 1109) under the guidance of master distiller Eduardo Orendain Jr., the brand focuses on showcasing agave through creative barrel experimentation.
Tequila Bramido High Proof Blanco
Oswaldo González is a sixth-generation agave farmer and master distiller for Tequila Bramido. His ancestors have been crafting products such as belts, hats, and small tool bags from agave fibers since 1869. In June of 2024, Oswaldo's dad decided to take the family cultural heritage to the next level and founded the distillery Casa Tequilera Joselito (NOM 1675) in Tizapán el Alto, Jalisco. Since then, Oswaldo has been perfecting his craft, producing Tequila Bramido.
LALO Blanco
LALO Tequila is a collaboration between Eduardo “Lalo” González (grandson of Don Julio González) and David Carballido, who’ve been friends since childhood. Lalo and David created a brand that would honor the family’s tequila craft. LALO is one of the fastest-growing (and now most popular) tequila brands in the United States. They recently merged with Tito’s Vodka brand, which should put LALO in even more bars, restaurants, and retail location in the United States, and beyond.
Volans Añejo
Volans – for the love of music, fly fishing and tequila! Volans is a family-owned, traditionally made, small batch tequila. This is a limited-edition añejo tequila batch of 2,700 bottles, which is an extension of Volans’ successful single barrel reposado program. They started with 20 barrels, ten were dedicated for single barrel reposados released at different ABVs, and the other ten were reserved for Volans Añejo tequila.
