Who knew a 1972 rock 'n roll anthem would be an ongoing tourist attraction for a dusty, little western town. True enough, people come from all over to stand on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, and break into the The Eagles smash hit, “Take It Easy.” Fifty-seven miles south of Flagstaff, on Route 66, sits the railroad town of about 10,000. The truth is that folks—mostly middle-age or older boomers—passing through the area make a detour just to stand on a corner and make a video.

Utahns are in for a cool, musical slide into summer as Gov. Spencer Cox has declared June as “High Fidelity Month.” It's nice that someone has finally taken the trouble to dedicate an entire month to good music. Coincidentally, it's also Pride Month—a celebration of the LGBTQ community, which, as you know Wilson, is quite musical.
