Chris Winters’s Biography
I'm a seasoned reporter and editor with more than two decades in journalism, where I've covering everything from general assignment and local news to business, technology, science and the environment and tribal affairs, and have worn many editorial hats in that time, including copy editor, reporter, editor, managing editor and editorial writer. I've also spent time as a content curator for a local high-tech company, as an adjunct professor of cultural studies at a university, and as a high school English teacher in rural Hungary through the Peace Corps. I grew up in the Washington, D.C., area but now consider Seattle my home. I also write fiction and play guitar. Please note I am not on X/Twitter. Find me on BlueSky under my name.
