This article proposes a fault detection (FD) method for a class of Markov jump nonlinear systems with time delays and uncertain parameters. The FD problem is transformed into a filtering question by designing a FD filter that satisfies appropriate performance index. An adaptive event-triggered mechanism is introduced to conserve network resources, and the impact of time-varying and network-induced delay on the system is fully considered.
