Abstract Advanced monitoring of neural responses has deepened our understanding of brain functions. However, balancing sampling fidelity and spatial resolution of electrocorticography mapping remains a major challenge in neuroscience and neuroelectronics. Here we describe a flexible, two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)-based active array for electrocorticography sensing that uses a dual-transistor multiplexed source follower array architecture.

Chronic low back pain due to degeneration of the intervertebral disc that has not responded to conservative measures has traditionally been treated by fusion of the affected levels. However, the problems associated with rigid fixation have led us to find adjuncts and alternatives to spinal fusion. 2 Several non-fusion technologies have been introduced as an alternative to fusion procedures in the past decades.

Chondromas are benign tumor of the cartilaginous tissue7,19). Spinal chondroma is very rare, especially in the cervical area5). We report a rare case of a 72 year old male patient with cervical spine chondroma compressing spinal cord. A 72 year old male patient visited the emergency room (ER) with progressive weakness and paresthesia in all extremities that were aggravated several days ago.
