I had an internship with Cliché Magazine that I got while I was still working on my B.A.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I own an old Remington from the '60s.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email is the easiest way, though I don't mind if people reach out to me through social accounts.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use whatever CMS system is required (including Wordpress), Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and photo editing services.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, I did not! I didn't have the opportunity at the time.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I am open to pitches any time of day, but I will most likely respond during my work hours of 6 a.m. PT to 1 p.m. PT.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Something to do with a toiler paper robot.
What's your favorite drink?
Sparkling water brands like Bubly, as well as Kombucha.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Performing in the theater, playing guitar, writing fiction, or out on a hike.
