Now, instead of releasing print jobs from the webpage, you have to be physically standing in front of the printers themselves. Newer color printers in CST and Lilly Library have swipe card access. You scan your student ID to release your print job. The first time you use the swipe card access, you have to register your card so it’s associated with your print account. Directions for doing this are located next to the printers.

The protesters submitted requirements for changes the college must make and spoke with President David Dawson. The walkout started at 11:30 a.m. Monday morning during classes. About 60 students walked from building to building, repeating the chant “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. We have nothing to lose but our chains.” Walkouts, protests, and vigils are not unfamiliar sights on Earlham campus. A protest against racism was organized by the same group last semester.

Price was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in Long Island, New York. While at Earlham, he was a student body president, a WECI radio host, and participated in Concert Choir. After receiving a law degree from Harvard, Price went on to have a varied career. Most recently, he worked for Peace Corps as the Associate Director of Management. He kept in touch with the campus as an alum in the intervening years, and more recently as a member of the Board of Trustees.
