1. Introduction Since the middle of the twentieth century, the development of industrial globalization has driven the rapid growth of the world economy and brought about a series of side effects, such as ecological poverty and ecological crises. The continuous deterioration of the ecological environment has been caused by mankind’s wanton plundering and uncontrolled destruction of natural resources.

1. Introduction In the coming decades, autonomous driving will become sufficiently reliable, affordable, and pervasive to ultimately displace most human driving. Optimists predict that full autonomy may be commercially available and legal to use in some jurisdictions in the late 2020s [1].
