Why did you become a journalist?

I have always wanted - needed - to write. I am a born storyteller.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, here in Australia my school didn't have one.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Lessons from my Mother's Death. The most personal story I have written.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Just keep writing.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Any time.

What's your favorite drink?

Champagne. Preferably vintage!
