2.1. Sensors Setup The prosthetic leg has been tested adopting free–free conditions by suspending the prosthetic with an elastic band. In Figure 1, the reference system considered in the experimental campaign is shown. The origin lies on the prosthetic plane of symmetry, at the midpoint of the width (attachment to the socket). The Y-axis is directed along the prosthetic width, while vertical Z-axis points downwards, towards the prosthetic toe.
