1 Introduction World energy consumption is a daily modern-society challenge. The 600 BTU (British Thermal Unit) values, currently used, are expected to rise by 50% by 2050: the socio-economic growth requests energy sources that are still, unfortunately, based on fossil fuels.[1] The environmental impact of fossil fuels represents the main drawback for their use as a long-term solution and their shortages and costs result in additional weak properties.
