Kildare minor footballers s are Leinster champions following last night’s dramatic win over Meath. Kildare were four points down going in to the final minute of normal time when Logan Tennyson fired home a goal and a point in quick succession to level the game at 1-11 each. The sides were still level at half time in extra time 1-12 each, and again after the 2nd period: Kildare 2-13 to 1-16, Kildare’s 2nd goal from full forward Greg Kelly.
