Abstract This study aimed to establish cutoff points for the body roundness index as a predictor of metabolic syndrome in a Brazilian adult population. This population-based cross-sectional study was conducted with data from a subsample of laboratory tests from the 2013 National Health Survey. The adult population aged 18–59 years was considered.
