For many months now, those riding the Gautrian enjoyed parking for just R1 at train stations and Gautrain parking facilities. Despite an extension, this was always a limited-time promotion that ends on 1st September 2026. Now, it has been announced that parking will cost R10. This covers the first 24 hours of parking for rail users. Right now, further details about this change are very thin on the ground.

The big news it the Marvel world today, is the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, which has a new title (and movement of the colon) to become Avengers Endgame: Encore. Disney/Marvel has announced the movie for theatres on 25th September, but what about South Africa? Often South Africa is left out of re-releases like this for whatever reason. As movie fans, this makes us really sad, as we sometimes miss fun new editions of old movies. Thankfully, this isn’t the case this time.

Valve has just released its weekly top sellers list covering 18th – 25th August. As always, this list is organised by revenue generated in that time, which is why Free to Play (F2P) titles like Counter-Strike 2 can compete, as they generate money from in-game purchases.
