Galatasaray have made a €40 million offer for Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli, but the bid has been rejected by the Gunners, according to GSSpot. The Turkish club have shown growing interest in the Brazil international and have now made a formal approach. However, Arsenal have turned down the €40m proposal and are demanding €60 million for Martinelli. The 25-year-old is entering the final year of his Arsenal contract, although the club have an option to extend his deal.

According to The Times, Arsenal have pivoted back to Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez as their primary transfer target. The Gunners were chasing a blockbuster deal for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior. However, the Brazilian star has ultimately signed a new contract with Los Blancos. Alvarez was Arsenal's first-choice target before Vinicius, and they are seriously considering an attempt to acquire him again. They are aware, however, that Barcelona are the Argentine's preferred destination.

Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes, with the transfer expected to be worth around £80 million, according to talkSPORT. The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for the Brazil international this summer, and negotiations have now advanced towards a high-profile switch to the Emirates Stadium. Guimaraes is set to undergo his medical within the next 24 hours before completing his move to Arsenal.
