A COBRA-like protein ACL83 acts downstream of transcription factor ROC5 to control abaxial leaf curling in rice
INTRODUCTION Rice (Oryza sativa) is a staple food for a large proportion of the global population (Zhang et al., 2024), and improving grain yield has long been a central objective of rice research (Liu et al., 2022; Yuan et al., 2022). Leaf functions, including photosynthesis, respiration, and transpiration, depend on leaf shape or three-dimensional architecture (Govaerts et al., 1996).

Publisher Correction: Long-term in vivo imaging of mouse spinal cord through an optically cleared intervertebral window - Nature Communications
Correction to: Nature Communications https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-022-29496-x, published online 12 April 2022. The original HTML version of this Article was updated shortly after publication because the previous HTML incorrectly linked to a Supplementary Figures file.
Adaptive optics two-photon endomicroscopy enables deep-brain imaging at synaptic resolution over large volumes
Abstract Optical deep-brain imaging in vivo at high resolution has remained a great challenge over the decades. Two-photon endomicroscopy provides a minimally invasive approach to image buried brain structures, once it is integrated with a gradient refractive index (GRIN) lens embedded in the brain. However, its imaging resolution and field of view are compromised by the intrinsic aberrations of the GRIN lens.
IL-33-PU.1 Transcriptome Reprogramming Drives Functional State Transition and Clearance Activity of Microglia in Alzheimer’s Disease
Highlights • IL-33 induces a MHC-II-expressing microglial subpopulation in AD • IL-33-responsive microglia exhibit increased Aβ clearance activity • Chromatin state controls the transcriptome signature of IL-33-responsive microglia • PU.1 activity is required for the microglial Aβ clearance stimulated by IL-33 Summary Impairment of microglial clearance activity contributes to beta-amyloid (Aβ) pathology in Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
Ultrafast Delivery of Aggregation-Induced Emission Nanoparticles and Pure Organic Phosphorescent Nanocrystals by Saponin Encapsulation
Saponins are a class of naturally occurring bioactive and biocompatible amphiphilic glycosides produced by plants. Some saponins, such as ?-hederin, exhibit unique cell membrane interactions. At concentrations above their critical micelle concentration, they will interact and aggregate with membrane cholesterol to form transient pores in the cell membrane.
